You will receive a personal alarm that is linked directly with your local Gleberry Support branch just in case you need us in an emergency.


The cost of the alarm is included in your monthly fee.

Common Questions - Check In Service

  • Will my alarm work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

    Yes this is linked directly to your branches oncall service and will also call to an additional 2 managers incase oncall is busy.

  • What is the contract for this service?

    There is a 3 month notice period on this service, Meaning the 3 months starts once you have submitted notice.

  • Do I own the personal alarm?

    No, This remains the property of Gleberry Support. This also means that if the device needs replacing, this will be covered by Gleberry Support, unless intentional damage and loss occurs. 

  • What about if I dont have signal?

    We work with 3 different mobile phone networks, normally we can find one that is suitable, this cost is paid for by Gleberry Support as part of your monthly fee.

  • How do I pay for this service?

    When you access the service you will complete a direct debit online or paper form, this will allow us to take the monthly payment.


    The date will be the same every month, normally the date in the month you started the plan.

  • What about if I am not available when support worker attends

    We will call you if you are not there. If you know you are not there, we can change the time providing we have 24 hours notice.


    If you cancel your visit, under 24 hours notice this will count as your visit as we still need to pay staff etc.

  • How long does the support worker stay?

    Normally the support worker will stay 40-50 mins. 

  • Do I need an assessment?

    You will not need an offical assessment but we will need to meet you, find out some details and test the alarm. e.g does its have good signal
